For an early 3:20 a.m. flight, we wanted to stay close to the airport. There are a number of dives in El Alto, but Esmeraldo is certainly not one of them. The bed was very comfortable, not saggy. Bathroom was large with plenty of hot water. Room size was pretty decent. The owner speaks English pretty good and arranged for a taxi for us at 1 a.m. (Bol 30 to airport). The hotel is located just inside a small mall, with a secure elevator to the floors. There is a restaurant on the 2nd floor, in case you passed on walking the streets of El Alto at dusk.

we just stayed one night for flight transfer and checked in very late. and the surrounds of hotel was not very safe I appreciated the receptionist who was helpful for calling taxi !

The hotel is not far away from the airport，great choice for over night' stay after early morning. They have 24 hours reception, that is great. The guy received us super friendly at 4:30am. The girl helps our book taxi via indrive and escort us to the place to meet the driver. The bed is comfortable and they have heater in door, which is a bonus. The breakfast is good with egg and fruit.

If you need a hotel close to the airport at a budget price, this is the one you should choose. The hotel is located within a "mall" and is very safe b/c of that. The reception desk woman got me a very good taxi for my early morning departure. Check out was easy and quick. The room is basic but good and clean and looks recently renovated. There's a mini fridge and great shower.
