We stayed not in Lille centre, but in La Madeleine which is a very quite neighborhood very close to the city centre. We drove by car and there is free public parking right next to the location, very handy! Lille centre is only a 10 min drive by car or you can use public transport (the host provides a very useful description where to get the bus to the city centre). We really liked the location and apartment. Very close by there is also a small grocery store and bakery. Diner tip: Boat restaurant (Archimède) right next to public parking Liberté.

Very cute, stylish townhouse in lovely and quiet residential area. The bedrooms are a really good size (although only one has a mirror) with big double beds. The shower is great. The nespresso machine in the kitchen was fab and oven and cooker worked perfectly. The real highlight was the super balcony terrace where you could enjoy your meals al fresco. Parking is okay. There was lots of info for places to visit. We followed the Anzac trail of rembrance and the property is well located for visiting Great War sites in France and Belgium.

a very comfortable, good looking, clean place near to Lille. we enjoyed our stay here. the house has everything that we needed. the hosts were very prompt in replying all our queries.

Nicely located in a calm area but walking distance to all main shops and even a local market on Mondays and Fridays morning.
