We arrived to be greeted by Cecile who made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was well-presented and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The nearest places to eat were about a 20- minute walk away, lots of choice, I had a huge pan of mussels cooked in a creamy white wine sauce, delicious 😋. Our traditional French breakfast was lovely and there was a generous selection of pasties and preserves to accompany the coffee.

Everything! Warm welcome by host as arranged who gave us a comprehensive introduction to our room and facilities. These were all first class and included basic cooking, a fridge and small outdoor terrace. Everything worked and was absolutely spotless. Location was ideal for us - quiet but walkable to the centre of La Bernerie shops and the beach and on the Atlantic Cycling Route (La Vélodyssée). Beautifully presented breakfast - a joy both to look at and eat - especially the fresh fruit and home made speculoos cake.

What a fantastic breakfast, fresh fruit and bread, homemade jam, fresh orange juice, one of the best continental breakfast I have had, lovely room with all the mod cons, large bathroom and toilet, outdoor heated swimming pool, very secluded, we do not speak much French and our hostess did not speak much English but she did her best to communicate with us, we understood what she was telling us.
