The home-made Japanese breakfast, which changed every day, made our two weeks stay in Japan an exceptional experience. Apart from the fact that the Ryokan is well centered between many sightseeing opportunities. In addition we enjoyed to have several reasonable dinner opportunities very close to the hotel. Many thanks also for the offered very relaxing Japanese-style bath, once we come back, we will only stay here.

The host was very welcoming and made us feel at home in his own home. We had a nice patio/garden view. A very good place to experience Ryokan at an affordable price

This guesthouse is privately run by a lovely elderly couple. The landlord speaks English well and is happy to help and inform about his beautiful garden, Kyoto and its sights. The atmosphere of the house is very friendly and calm.
