The staff was brilliant. Honestly, I’ve never met people so nice in my life. I’m really gonna miss the Japanese hospitality. I also found the room pretty traditional and cozy.

We loved that the property was away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Kyoto area but close enough to walk to so many places such as the Nishiki Markets and the large temple. Loved the personal continental breakfast, the happy hour, the wooden bath and that our room had a balcony to open for fresh air. This was one of our favourite accommodation stays in Japan.

The female staff were very kind and so warm and helpful. The wooden bathtub in the room was very nice. The bed was big. Clean.
