This place was so adorable. The photos do not do it justice. Since we walked into the lobby, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was bigger than we expected, and all the amenities were very nice. the shower was large, and we felt like we had plenty of space. The Onsen was very nice and was a wonderful experience.

Very welcoming hotel with a great vibe. Breakfast buffet was nice. It was nice and close to Kyoto station. Massage chairs were a great touch after a big day of walking. It was a no shoes hotel so felt really comfortable and clean.

We arrived at the hotel around 11 a.m. and were told by the front desk that our room wasn’t ready yet, which was totally understandable. We asked if we could complete the check-in process and store our luggage in the meantime. However, the front desk staff member who assisted us seemed noticeably impatient and was rolling her eyes while checking our details, which left a poor first impression. Later in the evening when we returned to collect our room key, we were surprised to find out that our check-in was never actually completed, so we had to go through the process again. Aside from this, the hotel itself was fine, but it was very busy and the front desk service definitely fell short compared to the other 4-5 hotels we stayed at on this trip.
