Room was on the smaller side but was very comfortable and cosy. Loved the strong water pressure of the shower! Staff were very polite, friendly & helpful throughout our stay, and it was cool that they had communal spaces for hanging out in the lobby/entrance area. Location was super good as it was walking distance to a lot of shops/cafes/restaurants, and also near the riverside.

It's such a lovely place. Stepping out you find nice shops and restaurants. Having a lot of busses and trains nearby makes it also perfect for exploring Kyoto. Inside the design is beautiful and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable, shower and bathroom spacious enough. There is no real close but hangers. For me the stay was perfect
