Highly recommend booking this for your Kyoto stay. The location is ideal, not too full of tourists and close to the station so very convenient! This is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a traditional experience and it is an absolutely beautiful property. The host and staff were extremely friendly and really helpful. I could not recommend this place enough :))

+ the living room had a heated carpet - perfect for our colder weather + the lady-owner was very helpful with choosing places to eat! + the blanket cover (or whatever it is called - the thing you cover yourself with at night) was so light and soft that it felt like i am sleeping between the clouds ^^

Amazing experience to stay in a beautiful traditional house. Staff extremely helpful and attentive. Bath fantastic.
