The place was amazing! The room size was very big, clean and they had a great free shuttle car to the station that we had used. If we came to kyoto again would definitely try stay here.

The staff is just perfect, welcoming, helpful, always at disposal. The room was perfect for 3 of us. Beds were comfortable, all amenities you might need are there. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. The hotel is well connected by public transport to all city areas.

The hotel – especially the rooms – felt a bit dated and past their prime. However, the room had everything we needed, and everything functioned properly. Breakfast was nice, though not quite at the level one might expect from a 5-star hotel. That said, we highly recommend trying the traditional Japanese breakfast – it was a very interesting and unique experience.

Overall it was okay, the presentation of the lobby was nice. My bedroom was nice and it was comfortable, I liked that you could control the light in the room through the nightstand.
