It was our second visit to Mr. Koni and what can i say more. This is my favorite place in all Japan. I felt like I was visiting someone close. We joked that it wasn’t our host, but the family :) I loved our breakfast, conversations and karaoke. I hope that we will back to Kyoto one day.

Everything was amazing! The host is the best one you could wish for, welcoming, kind and fun. The position was great, close to the main train station, the buses and metro. The room was clean and comfortable, the shared bathroom quite big and clean. Having a breakfast was also a great bonus, Kouji was kind enough to prepare vegetarian options for us. Overall great experience but mostly thanks to Kouji! Unforgettable memories :) we absolutely recommend staying at Kyoto Shima
