Ryokan Overview

Located next to the historic Nanzen-ji Temple, Kyoto Garden Ryokan Yachiyo features chic Japanese-style rooms and large public baths. It is surrounded by beautiful Japanese gardens, which change their colours each season. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the entire area.
With a relaxing ambience, rooms are fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. A flat-screen TV is provided. Some rooms have views of the garden and some come with a private bathroom.
Guests at Yachiyo Garden Ryokan can unwind in the public baths or relax in the lounge which has free internet PCs. Massages can be requested at an extra charge, and a free luggage storage service is offered. A gift shop is available on site.

An en suite bathroom with a large glass window features a bathtub made from Japanese cypress and the scent of cypress drifts in the sauna room You can enjoy the garden of the four seasons from the bay window. Beautiful old building full of character. We lived the spa set up in the room and the atmosphere with the garden view is Devine! Great Japanese breakfast in the morning is a must!

The hotel is so beautiful and full of charm. The staff are very friendly and so warm. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and it was a different breakfast each day which helped with the variety. The room with the private onsen made the trip. The welcome matcha in the room was also a wonderful touch.
