Smoking is not allowed inside the property and guests cannot request smoking rooms.The shuttle service from subway station "Karasumaoike" around No.2 exit operates from 08:20 to 21:40 every 20 minutes and costs of free of charge.When booking 3 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Please contact the property directly for more details.Children aged 0–5 years can stay free of charge but incur a breakfast charge of JPY 1,900 per child/night when breakfast is included in the rate.

Excellent breakfast options with both Japanese and Western choices, and a wide variety of dining options available throughout the day, including a lobby café, Chinese, Japanese, and Western cuisine. The staff are professional and efficient, and the location feels exclusive and well-situated.

Staff very friendly and helpful especially with my luggage forwarding to next hotel filling in the necessary form. Room was a great size with the usual amenities. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and would recommend that instead of the western breakfast. Would definitely use again if staying in Kyoto.

This has been our favourite stay in Japan. The rooms were spacious, service was excellent and food amazing.
