One of the most beautiful experiences I lived in this trip!! we are two girls from Spain and France who traveled together! we met Tomo and his wife who welcomed us as part of a family! the place is cozy, clean, and the best choice if you want to live the Japanese experience of sleeping on a futon. It has very good communication with public transport and also, any questions you have let them know because they advised us about restaurants and places to visit! They were also kind enough to take us to another of their gesthouse in Takashima, a place of nature and close to Lake Biwa! They showed us every corner of the road making stops to visit small temples and breathtaking views! 100% recommendable!!!

The owners are kind and helpful, they picked us up as my mother can only walk very slowly. They gave us tips on where to find cherry blosdoms and other things to do. Location is exceptional short walk to kyoto station, lots of resturants close by, public bath close by. The home is from the 1950's and it is charming. Loved it
