The hotel offers special diet meals, which require an advance reservation. Loved everything about it, the style of the interior, rooms layout, rental yukatas for woman I wished we had chose to stay there longer. Location is pretty good slightly further away from the Kyoto station but since we only had backpacks we had no issues.

Oh my, what an amazing place! Huge room. Initially sceptical about the sleeping on the floor futon arrangement, but actually incredibly comfortable. Beds set up by staff. Indoor footwear provided. Breakfast just incredible - Japanese style, varied each morning, no need for a large lunch later! Handy tip - learn about onsen entiquette before you head in... Great location opposite city hall, handy for metro station. Brillant. Loved it.
