Please note the front desk is available during the following hours: 10:00-12:00 and 16:00-21:00.Guests arriving after 21:00 must inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.Children under 12 years of age cannot be accommodated in the dormitory room.The Japanese-Style Superior Room with Shared Bathroom can accommodate 3 adults with an extra charge for the 3rd guest. Please contact the property for the further details.DIRECTIONS: Take bus No. 9 or No. 50 from JR Kyoto Station, and get off at Horikawa Shimodachiuri bus stop. There is a Fresco supermarket on the corner just 5 metres from the bus stop. Turn right at the corner and walk 6 blocks, then turn right again and you will find the hostel on your right.An accommodation tax per person per night is not included in the price and needs to be paid at the property.

Everything is amazing. Traditional japanese house, and it's small. Very cozy and I felt like I was home while I was staying here! Lovely guests and the ambience is just right.

This is a traditional japanese building, which is really nice, only 1thing can make some inconvinience, thin walls, but they inform about it, so it isnt surprise. They did all their best making nice stay for me. Its a bit far from the center, but bus stop is 10minutes walk. There are small restaurants and cafes in walking distance.

I stayed there for 5 nights. The hostel is located around an hour (by foot) from kyoto station. The street was calm, quiet and dark at night perfect for sleeping. Every bed has its own curtains for privacy:) the walls are very thin and it's not very big but the "living room" area was a perfect spot for meeting your fellow travelers and have the best talks) The washing machine is outside and it's cool..because you don't have to add any laundry detergent to it.. it gets automatically added in by the machine.. costs 300yen. No dryer but that's allright.
