Within walking distance from the main station which was super convenient. I found the property very clean and the futon and bedding very comfortable. A special thanks to the host who helped us find the glasses we left behind!

Amazingly helpful host despite some language issues which were well navigated by the host using google translate. Helped us locate and deliver our misdelivered luggage to our next destination as we didn't speak japanese.

Such a wonderful traditional ryokan to stay in - highly recommend experiencing Kyoto this way. The place is traditional and has a homely touch, rather than a hotel feel. The owner was very kind and always available, and the house cat is adorable! Rooms and bathroom facilities are very clean and well maintained, and you are provided with slippers, traditional robes, towels, toiletries, etc. It is a small ryokan, with only a few rooms, so we never felt we had to wait to use the bathrooms. Located right next to Kyoto Station so its very convenient. No complaints from us!

The room was clean and the host was helpful and kind. Despite the language barrier all our questions were answered. The ameneties were very nice. Also the location was excellent.
