the room is not very centrally located, but the owner compensated this greatly by picking us up from the station, and bringing us back. The wifi is good, and we slept very good in the Cozy House. We also rented the bicycles, which were of good quality. Pay attention, as you cannot just leave your bicycle where you want in Kyoto, but need designated bicycle parkings (which are hard to find). It felt a very safe neighborhood, and there was not a lot of noise from other rooms.

The owner picked us up from the subway, helped with our luggage, personally took us to the property, showed us all the facilities, explained in detail where and how to get to the sights. An incredible person, responsive, had left tourist maps and directions for everything in the apartment and outside. Thank you! Of all our stays in Japan, this was the best place!!!
