The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Staff is friendly and dinner was super delicious (but not cheap 15RM per person). We enjoyed the view (except for the rubbish). We also enjoyed the deck and the small kitchen (which has a fridge for guests). We played games and were happy with the coffee and tea facilities. The place is reachable by normal car, the cabins are in the back and there's no obvious place to check-in. The overall vibe was very relaxing. We didn't mind the basic cabins.

The accommodation is situated in a traditional village over the ocean. We loved the relaxed pace and waking up to the waves every day. The room was quite basic with a fan only and a cold shower. It's not for everyone. We had the option of eating meals prepared by the owners family and it was very delicious! It's a bit of a drive into town so this was a great choice. Snorkeling gear is available to use if desired. The owner is an amazing man involved in his community. One of his passions is the coral regeneration in the area which we were happy to support.

Located directly by the seaside. Coffee and tea and breakfast provided. There is a kettle and toaster in the comunal kitchen. Clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Peaceful. Small, local shop near by

Okay first off, if you’re looking at staying in Kudat, you have found the perfect spot, you don’t need to waste your time looking at other places. Udey is a fantastic host, so accommodating, friendly and we only wish we had booked more than 2 nights at his guest house!!! The rooms are a good size, private bathroom attached with balconies. You wake up literally IN the sea and can go straight in for a morning snorkel after a lovely breakfast, homemade by Udey. He accommodated for us as we are vegan which was so appreciated!! We had homemade sticky rice, doughnuts and refried bean treats etc. The three cats that live here are soooo nice and friendly, we were chilling in our room with one for hours ❤️ Udey was also kind enough to arrange a day trip for us to visit the northern tip of Borneo, Secret beach and the amazing Kelumbo beach. this was one of our favourite days in Borneo!!!
