The fine print
A mandatory meal plan including breakfast, lunch and dinner must be purchased on the island for FJ $139 per adult, per night and FJ $70 per child between 5-12 years (There is no charge for children under 5 years of age). No alternative dining options are available.Please note that beach towels are not included for dorm accommodation bookings, you must bring your own.Transfers to & from Barefoot Kuata Island Resort are daily. You can book your transfers with us via the Booking.com messaging system.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.Please inform Barefoot Kuata Island Resort in advance of your expected arrival time. We had the beach front bungalow (tent) and it was a very nice accommodation. Although it was very hot inside during the daytime it cooled down to an comfortable temperature during the evening and night due to the windows. It is fantastic to fall asleep and wake up with the sound of the waves. Unfortunately we had a bad diving experience (certified dive) and gave our feedback to the manager of the dive shop. He took care of our concern and we found a good and suitable solution.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming – we felt right at home from the start. The location was absolutely stunning, right by the ocean, surrounded by nature, and so peaceful. Just beautiful! The food was really good and varied – every day something new, fresh and delicious. The accommodation itself was super clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. One of the absolute highlights was the shark dive, which we were able to do without a diving license! I was honestly really scared at first, but our dive guide Jay Vee was just amazing. He made me feel so safe and calm the entire time. He truly stood out because he does his job with so much heart. A huge thank you to him – without his support, I probably wouldn’t have gone through with it. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for nature, kindness, and unforgettable adventures!
