The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Ann is so helpful and nice! It’s a nice little place with a chilling area where you can have a chat. Easy to book tours there! Nice sleeping facilities as well :)

Host Anne was amazing, couldn’t do enough for myself and others in the group. She really was my Asian Mum! Anne ran a very tight ship including cleanliness, quiet hours and ensuring everything was in order for the guest, exactly what you want when preparing or relaxing after your hiking adventure. Anne was also extremely knowledgeable about all hikes, conditions, needs and travel too and from Taman Negara, even able to book all our tours and travel too and from Taman Negara. This made life so easy and stress free. I can’t recommend this place enough. Yes the facilities are basic but aren’t they all on an area like this. All beds came with lockable storage and each bunk was equipped with light, plug socks and a light. An unforgettable experience

The hostel is located very close to the river, where the various boats can be taken. Very welcoming atmosphere. Ann was really lovely and helpful. I highly recommend booking the excursions that you can do in Taman with her, much higher quality than what you usually book on the internet. Definitely recommended!
