Absolutely loved our stay at this pretty special self-catering hideaway on the beautiful island of Koufonisia. Just as all the other glowing reviews say, the hosts are truly fabulous, warm, and welcoming. With the port pick up and drop off making everything feel effortless from the start. The location is close enough to the charm of the main village, yet tucked away just enough to offer that peaceful, heavenly retreat feel. The interiors are island chic, stylishly decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. Super comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen, all the bathroom essentials including a great hairdryer. Literally everything you need for a relaxing and easy stay. There’s no air conditioning, which would have been the cherry on top, but the powerful ceiling fan does a great job of keeping things cool. The homemade cake and fresh coffee were a delight, such a thoughtful and personal touch. The island itself is dreamy. With fabulous bars, restaurants, and little boutiques lining the picture perfect main street, it’s impossible not to fall in love with the vibe here. And Pori Beach which is just a short ride on the hourly hop-on-hop-off boat from the port is absolute paradise. We’ll definitely be back. This place is a gem.
