The best thing about Sama was the staff... from the chef to waiting staff to management was exceptional. My every need was catered for. I would like to mention Sumith the chef who was totally awesome. Extremely dedicated and an absolute gem of a resource to the establishment. Then there was Fabian who actually made my stay there at Sama. Wealth of knowledge... better than an encyclopedia... entertaining and accommodating. Thank you so much Fabian. Definitely will be back.

An unbelievably amazing hotel, surrounded by jungle, nature, and wild animals, with direct access to the ocean—and best of all, no crowds of tourists. It’s the perfect place to relax and reconnect with the natural world around you. I’d also like to highlight the hotel staff separately: an amazing team—very friendly and truly customer-oriented.

Peaceful retreat surrounded by lush nature and just steps from a quiet, beautiful beach. The cottages are stylish and serene, and daily yoga, spa treatments, and a natural pond create a truly relaxing atmosphere. The food is delicious and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel completely at home.

The Sama team were incredible and helped with any query/request we had. The room was so beautifully done and very comfortable. The hotel feels very natural with so much wildlife. The food was incredible and the activities we did felt very intimate and hand picked. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone wanting to relax and unwind while connecting to the local culture and scenery
