“A truly unforgettable stay in a peaceful remote Bosnian mountain village, with the warmest hospitality.”

Our stay in this beautiful, remote mountain village was one of the most genuine and heartwarming experiences we've ever had. The hospitality of the Čomor family was beyond anything we expected, they welcomed us like old friends. We were treated to delicious homemade food, including fresh pita, hearty soup, creamy yogurt, and refreshing elderflower drinks made from flowers picked in their own garden. Their granddaughter was the sweetest little guide, showing us around the village with such pride and kindness. The peaceful surroundings, the warmth of the people, and the authentic local experience made us wish we could have stayed much longer. If you're looking for something truly special, off the beaten path, and full of heart then this is the place. We’ll always carry this memory with us.

It is an amazing place in the beautiful village in the middle of the mountains. We stayed at Bobica Konak for two nights and we wish we could have stayed longer, if hadn't had a reservation at the next place. The hosts are amazing people, they really care about their guests. The rooms are very clean and furnished in a local style. The food is delicious - we had breakfast there and a supper prepared by the hosts. The supper is extra paid, but I highly recommend ordering it, as the food is fresh, homemade, delicious. The Wifi works surprisingly well. There is a small local restaurant nearby with very friendly staff. If you love mountains and quiet places you should definitely visit to Lukomir. The village is wonderful, the best experience of our trip to Bosnia. There is a dirt road for about 12km, but it is manageable if you drive carefully. We got there in a Honda Civic with quite low suspension. The mountains around are beautiful and not crowded

Considering how remote Lukomir is, I was very impressed that we had reliable hot water in the shower, strong wifi connection and a multitude of electrical sockets in the room. Room was also beautifully decorated with local handicrafts. Hosts don't speak English but they communicate with a voice translation app and they reply in good English via the messaging section of the Booking app, so it doesn't present any problems. And they are both really welcoming. The included breakfast also is lovely :)
