It's central with restaurants and bars close by. Shops are at your doorstep. Room service and a restaurant. The rooms have been updated from the last time I was there, last year.

Great to stay in the historic YMCA on Chowringhee. Perfect location if you want to explore the history and markets of Kolkata. It's all located just outside the door. Bustling street vendors and very near to the impressive Indian Museum. The room was comfortable with private bath and hot showers and a very suitable restaurant for all meals..

Great location- 5 minutes to metro, just set on one of the iconic landmark, the New Market and the very center of Kolkata, Esplanade. The hotel building itself is a part of colonial history, heritage building. Old but well maintained.
