If you are looking for sustainable tourism, community owned and managed accommodations, and your money, as a tourist, going back to the local community and not to big tourists operators from other parts of the country, this is the place to be! Namm Nathawn is part of the sustainable tourism network of Koh Yao Noi, one of the oldest experience in Thailand of community based sustainable tourism, 20 years old. Namm Nathawn is not on the coast line, but inland, in the middle of paddy fields and it really gives a flavour of Thai countryside life. The best bungalows found so far in Thai islands! Very simple and basic, no AC no hot water, but very well built with a super comfy bed and a nice lay out with a porch facing the paddy fields with plenty of grazing buffalos. The bungalows and restaurant are very clean, the food is really nice. The ladies managing the resort are really nice and helpful. The overall atmosphere is very relaxed, great chill out and disconnection.

I stayed in NammNatawn not for the first time. I really like this quiet and beautiful place. The bungalows are clean and cozy. Breakfast is included in price. The stuff is really nice and friendly.

Very nice bungalow a bit outside of everything. But that's the positive thing about it. You are on countryside and there is only the noise of animals around. Loved the 4 days. wanted to prolong but unfortunately it was booked.
