Because the place is about 12km out of town, they have this little basket of goods that you might want (waters, cokes, chips etc) as well as wood, charcoal and firefighters that you can then purchase from them through an honesty box system... but its so thoughtful and sweet. Also, yummy brownies and beautiful flowers to greet you when you arrive.

So peaceful, loved the donkeys coming to say hello on the evening. Comfortable clean cottage and thé kids really enjoyed feeding the animals in the morning and we went running in their piece of woodland. The host went out of her way to help us organise kayaking.

Lovely Farmstyle cottage. Well kept and clean. Excellent farm animal interaction for the kids. Delicious chocolate brownies. Lovely walk to the dam.

Our family spent 3 wonderful days on Fernhill Guest Farm, enjoying the peaceful countryside and the many activities offered. Our cottage was clean and well-equipped with a cozy fireplace, perfect for cold evenings. The kids absolutely loved feeding the animals, milking the cows and petting the horses. Marcelle was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making our stay feel like a true home away from home.
