Stablewood Lodge was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Set on a quiet farm outside Kimberley, the lodge offers tranquility, wide-open spaces, and breathtaking night skies filled with stars ideal for stargazing and unwinding. What made my stay special: ✔ Location & Setting: The farm’s peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by nature, made it a true getaway. Waking up to birdsong and ending the day under a sky full of stars was magical. ✔ Comfortable & Cozy: My room was spacious and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like coffee, sugar, milk, and utensils—perfect for preparing a simple dinner. Sitting on the porch under the starry skies was utterly tranquil.

Everything about the place was excellent, True to pictures. The host was kind enough to communicate with me as I arrived late after check-in time, and still made the check-in process smooth.

A great stop-over on route to the Western Cape. Standalone units with one or two bedrooms, bathroom(s) with shower, fully equipped kitchen and patio. Comfortable beds. Covered BBQ area. Easy access via a phone call to the owners - no lengthy check in procedures.
