The apartment is in an ideal location for visiting my family and walks around Gorky Park. The communal area's are not great, but I've come to expect this in Ukraine so not shocked by it. There are 7 flights of stairs and no lift, great way to keep fit! The 2 bedroom apartment is a good size, would benefit from some more comfortable beds and bedding though as they're very hard and no duvets provided. Two singles in one of the bedrooms instead of both having small doubles would be more suitable for families. There is a bad damp smell in the small shower room which is only slightly improved after leaving the extractor fan on for a long time. Three TV's but not very well installed, two have very limited channel with poor reception and the third TV wasn't tuned in at all. Would be more beneficial to have just one TV in the main living area with a selection of cable channels in a couple of other languages, including English. We didn't have any hot water on one day, unsure the reason for this, but it was hot the next day.
