Beautiful location, very quiet, never seen so many Pheasants. No luck with the Red Squirrel, but maybe next time. Loved the stream at the bottom of the garden. The kitchen area is fantastic, and we loved cooking in it, so much so that we only ate out once. Fantastic views of Barrow and Catbells and both easy to get to from the front door. It's a real shame that the local pub has closed, but again, this did not detract from our stay. The master bedroom is stunning and we had a very relaxing stay. Overall, it is an exceptional cottage. The welcome basket was much appreciated and a lovely touch.

Beautiful high spec cottage in a quiet village. Roll top bath in the main bedroom and jacuzzi bath in the 2nd bathroom, downstairs loo is also a bonus! Kitchen well fitted out and the welcome pack was a lovely touch too. Would highly recommend.
