We had a great time at gables end cottage. Superb location right in the middle of Braithwaite village. A quaint village shop only 15 yards away & three pubs within walking distance. The bus stop is at the end of the road, with a punctual & frequent bus into Keswick. The cottage was extremely clean & comfortable. There is a gas fire and smart TV in the living room, and we were able to log into our own Netflix account. There is a separate entrance at the back of the house with a cloakroom area, where we were able to hang our wet coats and take off dirty boots without dirtying the kitchen floor.
