The room at the Glen was comfortable and cosy. The bathroom looked newly refurbished and was very clean. The organisation for breakfast really worked and was delicious.

Both hosts were lovely and friendly - always helpful and made me and my dog feel welcome from the get-go. The room was lovely - gorgeous view, extremely clean with plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits in the room. The bathroom was spotless and toiletries were provided (as was a hairdryer so that saved on some luggage!) I travelled with my dog and he was made to feel welcome, treats were provided in the room (which he loved). The location was also ideal for me as I don't drive and arrived by train - it was a 5 min walk from Oxenholme station and there was a nearby pub which was also only 3-5 min walk away.
