The Rose cottage is a very nice traditional cottage . It has beautiful view surroundings . The owner provided everything just we needed , very thoughtful and welcoming. The location is great . It’s easily to reach all the beautiful sightseeing place . The house is very clean , tidy and homely . All the facilities are very convenient and easy to use. We loved it . Highly recommended.

Very well equipped including basic kitchen/bathroom supplies such as tea bags, coffee granules, salt, pepper, etc., plenty of tp, shower gel, shampoo & a litre of milk in the fridge, new deep-pile carpet, good heating & hot water, comfortable beds, lovely bathroom, good WIFI & some streaming TV. It felt very safe & cosy.

We loved the traditional style of the cottage combined with state of the art appliances, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. The setting with the river flowing by is perfect. The hosts very considerately left milk, chocolate bars and Kendal Mint Cake upon arrival.

The cottage is in a great location for exploring the Lake District. It's very well equipped and comfortable.
