The location was very convenient for the station. Everything we needed for our stay was to hand. There was a nice hot shower, and a pretty garden to look at.

Lovely little cottage in Kendal – clean, quiet, cosy, and dog-friendly. It had everything you need on arrival – bin bags, towels, washing-up liquid, etc – which meant we didn’t have to lug the usual bits. Spacious with a charming wood burner that made the evenings really cosy. Great location too: a short walk to Kendal High Street, a stone’s throw from the train station, and Lidl just round the corner. The hosts were wonderful, with a thoughtful guide to local pubs, coffee shops, and activities. Would happily return. If you are travelling by train, this cottage is perfect as you hop off the train station and the property is just there. If you are travelling by car, then note that parking is available but near the train station, through the arches.

Location, house to ourselfs and garden and size. Ben was very kind on the phone to us as he called us to check if we was having a good time and if we wanted recommendations, he let us stay one more night ehich we are greatful for. We loved the garden and the bats and we would love to stay again in the future. I recommend this cottage to everyone.
