Oli “Immaculate villa a short walk from the lake resort with super generous and attentive host”

We were welcomed very warmly by Argiro despite it being close to midnight. She showed us round the villa and talked about local places to visit. The welcome pack was better than any I've ever experienced. A huge bowl of fruit that lasted us all week, milk, ham, cheese, two bottles of Raki(!), bread and all sorts of tea and coffee too. Very generous! The villa was immaculate and very modern and spacious. The pool area is lovely to relax in, and there are all sorts of facilities, including a juicer and milk frother(!). It's a very peaceful area so we slept very well. The TV in the lounge has Netflix and Prime, and there's a tv in the big bedroom too with one English channel. It's a very short walk down the hill to lake resort, with it's various shops and tavernas. Coaches come in during the day with people to visit the lake, and leave again at about 5, and it's very quiet. We hired a 'slide pedalo' a couple of times in the week just to jump in the lake and swim. The kids preferred it to the beaches in the end. There are lots of tavernas around and we didn't have a bad meal anywhere. We also visited Chania (amazing at sunset!) and Rethymno - beautiful old town.

Wonderfully located at Crete’s only sweetwater lake. 2 minutes walk to the lake and the nice tavernas there. Short drive (10 min) to the beach. Very close to the ancient city ruins of Lappa. Short drives to Chania and Rethymnon. The hosts are very kind and helpful. It feels like meeting relatives. Both villas are equipped with everything (and more) that you need. Lots of coffee and tea options. Very clean and brighlty lit property. The heated pools and the whirlpool allow you to feel as if you are in summer even in March. In short: Best place for a family trip on Crete.

Beautifully clean, beautifully laid out and a lovely welcome with some essentials (bread, ham, cheese, milk) in the fridge. Great advice from the owner about what to see and where to eat (and where to see the sun set…) Just great

Everything was absolutely amazing! The location, hosts, villa facilities, cleanliness & the value for money all exceeded our expectations, making for a perfect holiday on this incredible island!
