The place is very serene and authentic. Some reviews are just harsh because of different expectations. If you want a serene stay in an authentic hotel, you will find that here.

The hotel is situated in a lovely spot right on the River Fulda and the R1 cycle route. I stayed for one night while going the R1 cycle and it was perfect for my needs. Scenic location, bike storage, good restaurant and bar - and a decent breakfast in the morning. I had a river view room with a great view - and it was lovely to sit on the balcony with the view. Great value for money.

Nice area with riverside. Hotel has it's own sauna and pool with warm water, for additional cost which is not so expensive (10 Eur) it's very nice to relax there. Also nice restaurant where you can choose really tasty meals and drinks. Nice personnel. Good bathroom.
