When we arrived at the hotel it was around 11am and far too early for check in, which is normally at 2pm, but this was not a problem for them and they did not charge us more for an early check in. We were informed that we were going to be upgraded from the Garden Room to the Beach bungalow and while we waited for them to complete the clean up of the room, we were given a complimentary breakfast. So, we had a wonderful welcome and immediately felt their generosity. The bungalow opened immediately onto the beach, with white soft sand and clear blue sea. It was like paradise. The chef was very talented and every meal we had was delicious. On our last day, the owner/manager, Alex, recommended the fresh fish pasta which was amazing and he also provided us with a complimentary glass of Samai (Cambodia Rum), also very good. We had been travelling around Vietnam and Cambodia for 4 weeks and tasted some wonderful food during that time, but I would say that the fish pasta we had on our last evening at White Ark sand, was the best meal we had during our 4 weeks away. We found Alex to be a very kind and generous man who welcomes people like he is having them in his own home, instead of running a business. All of the staff were wonderful, Alex, Jakob, Tom and all of the other unnamed and unseen staff, especially the chef, who keep the hotel running so well. Always more than happy to help us and make our stay as wonderful as possible. Jakob made a lovely cappuccino!!!

It was a lovely little hotel and exactly what I needed after a couple weeks of traveling. The staff were so accommodating and made you feel right at home. Very peaceful, great breakfast buffet. Would 100% come back.

Amazing Place, especially the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Beach is also super in shape and clean and gets cleaned daily. Sunbeds are great. Food is delicious, with many vegetarian options. The breakfast buffet is mind blowing. Cheep 1 dollar beer and free nuts make it finally as you are in heaven 🤩
