Our day-hike with Usuru and Mudu to the Knuckels mountain range was very memorable! Because of the fog and rain we didn't see anything of the great views, didn't see any animals, had pools of water in our shoes and were soaked all the way to our underware. Also covered in leeches. BUT they still managed to give us a great day! It was still so much fun and a real adventure. Hard to imagine a better guide duo. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The cocktails were great and the food was good enough. The view from our terras was also very beautiful and offcourse the infitity pool was really cool. Wauw feeling when u are brought to the reception.

The view is like paradise, absolutely stunning with an infinity pool overlooking the highlands of Kandy. Great gym also with a beautiful view. Lovely nature walk with a naturalist (Isuru) very easy too and saw lots of different birds, monkeys and tropical trees. Walked through beautiful tea plantations with picking workers. Ate Jack fruit, mangos , Sri Lanka olives and smelled nutmeg and cloves. We travelled as mother and daughter but also a great family hotel as well as couples. A little bit out of Kandy but definitely worth staying in this tranquil place of paradise. Yatawara (waiter) and Gunasekara (bell captain) were incredibly helpful and kind. The rest of the staff were also so obliging, kind and friendly. Staff is treated very well by the hotel owners. Lots of Instagram photo spots. Would highly recommend. My daughter got celiac disease and this hotel was knowledgeable and helpful.
