Gabriella “Phenomenal - a must visit ryokan and onsen in Kanazawa”

I cannot stress how much we enjoyed our 3 night stay from start to finish! Mitsu-san and the lovely lady who served us breakfast everyday were phenomenal hosts: attentive, kind, gracious and wonderful. The breakfast was divine - so incredibly thought out, and customised to our tastes (we mentioned we liked natto and enjoyed this for the last two breakfasts). The grilled miso salmon and home made tofu were superb. The room was a perfect blend of old and new with wooden floorboards, low lying sliding, furniture, hinoki wood, a private shower and an onsen bath with natural spring water. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We felt like we were at home. As a result, this is unequivocally a 10/10! Thank you so much for having us :)

Amazing design and the staff was super helpful and exceptionally nice. The room was incredible and the private bath with spring water memorable. We wish we staid longer. They were generous with accessories and the breakfast was incredible. A real luxury ryokan experience but in the city!
