At this stage the journey to Kaikoura from the north (Blenheim, Picton and Nelson) is more than a 7 hour journey. Everything was absolutely perfect - we didn't want to leave. Sean and Skip have thought of every little thing to make a stay at The Factory absolutely outstanding, and their service and attention to detail is second to none. It was the cosiest, most comfortable stay in an incredible location with spectacular views....just perfect! We highly, highly, highly recommend. There aren't enough adjectives...just do yourself a favour and book today. We only wish we could have stayed longer.....but we'll definitely be back - looking forward to it already!

Stunning setting, spacious accommodation with a beautiful kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. Loved the complimentary face masks too!

Wow! This was the highlight of our travels around the South Island. The host was friendly, the facilities more than we could have asked for. We had a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable stay. We will definitely be back! The sky at night was spectacular. With no light pollution the stars and satellite were clear and amazed our friend who was travelling with us. This is truly a gem property 💎. Easy driving distance to Kaikoura, as just out of town so peaceful and quiet. Perfect for a family holiday or a friends weekend away.
