Lovely location with stunning views over the ocean. Clean. Good sheets and bedding. Kitchen well equipped. The heat pump was on when we arrived so the house was pleasantly warm. Nice outdoor sitting area although we arrived fairly late so didn't really get any benefit from that. Bathroom a bit dated but had everything you needed.

The view is breathtaking 😍 ✨️ especially at the sunset and the sunrise. Absolutely loved the place!!! There's only one thing to be aware of: The driveway was steeper than we thought and was also curved, so we could not take our boat to the top with a 2WD van and had to leave it at the bottom of the driveway-luckily was plenty of space. So, if you come on holiday with a boat, a 4WD is a must, as there's no chance of washing the engine at the marina and we couldn't find any possibilities of doing it elsewhere in Kaikoura. Other than that, it is one of the best places we stayed at!!! Highly recommend!
