The location was wonderful, so close to town and the walking track, all you need to do is cross the train tracks then you’re on the beach. The views were exceptional, waking up to snowy mountains and ocean views couldn’t get better. The lounge space was so open & accommodated our group well, the kitchen was equipped with all our needs. The two fires, one upstairs and downstairs made sure it was toasty warm & the rooms were great for our group of 7ppl. Overall, we had an excellent stay & would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely Stunning Stay – Even Better Than the Photos! I can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough. The house is absolutely massive, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind — whether you're with a group or just soaking it all in solo. But what truly sets this place apart are the views. They are simply breathtaking – some of the most picturesque scenery I’ve ever experienced. Honestly, the advertising photos don’t do it justice. The real-life setting is far more impressive – it’s the kind of place that makes you pause and take it all in. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Communication was easy and efficient, and they made sure we had everything we needed, which really added to the experience. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. It’s a hidden gem that exceeded all expectations.

The view at this place was absolutely stunning, nice, quiet neighbourhood, close to cafe, next to the beach. Communication with a property owner was incredible, fast response and even had a late check out which was amazing we didn’t need to rush and had a breakfast with a stunning view

The house is on the beach affording fantastic views of the ocean beyond. The kitchen facilities were of a standard one could expect. The open plan design included the dining and seating area including the kitchen. The bedrooms and bathroom facilities were good and downstairs the laundry equipment was . The house was located in a quiet residential area with easy access to downtown and local costal villages. Overall we would recommend this property to stay in when visiting Kaikōura
