Wonderful stay with an exceptional host! We spent one night at Akagera Neighbors and were absolutely delighted. The place was clean, peaceful, and very cozy – a perfect spot to relax near the national park. A special thank you goes to our host Pilote: He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. From the warm welcome to organizing small requests with great care – Pilote made our stay truly special. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests’ well-being. Thank you for the great experience – we’d love to come back! 🙏

The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and it is in a good location, only 45 mins from Akagera NP. Overall very good.

Fine place to wind down after a long day in the park. We were treated on Sunday with a community walk and performance by local children who come to the place to learn acrobatics, dancing and drumming (by Akagera Good Neighbors NGO).
