We came two years ago to the Best Western Astoria and returned today. The bedroom was basic but clean. The bed was absolutely lovely. Sheets were fabulous, fresh and white (five star for that). Facilities were basic but fine. Reception was fabulous particularly Sonia and the other lady. The evening guy was fine but Sonia was happy, cheerful and really helpful (five star) Breakfast - basic but ok Water in reception was a nice touch

good location, very nice staff. excellent room with brilliant views. train station near by a big bonus for us. staff were very understanding, helped us with necessary provisions we had left at home.

I thought maybe there could have been a change every two days perhaps instead of having scrambled eggs every day. The location of the hotel is wonderful.
