Staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent and very easy to get to the Mall especially when one is with the kids

The location, the front desk and conceirge staff were lovely as usual. The breakfast included has definitely improved and staff there lovely.

We all work to offer solutions and in turn, make cash but if you focus more on the cash than the solution, then there is a problem. I requested a paid late checkout and I was informed it would end at 18:00hrs. My daughter had a temperature during a golf round that morning so the mother got her some medication and ruched her back to the hotel to rest and because of that, we couldn't check out exactly at 6. Then as we were getting ready to leave around 6:15, someone from the reception called to remind us of the checkout time and I apologised, explained why we were late and told her we would be down soon. We later called the concierge some minutes to eight to get our luggage out. I was shocked to be charged for overstaying by less than 2 hours after paying for an extension and explaining why we couldn't come down exactly at 6. It has nothing to do with me paying but everything to do with principles, empathy and care for your guest. I was shocked and disappointed. I decided not to share any more feedback when prompted but then, I have a relationship with Bart so that won't be fair to him.
