Our adjoining suite was exactly what we needed for my sister and I. With her pregnant and me out all night, it provided the home feel of being together with the saving grace of a locked door between rooms. The water was gorgeously hot, lending itself to nice relaxing showers, and the breakfast was pleasant. The real stat was its close location to Journal Square, making it a cheap and convenient home base for exploring lower Manhattan.

The shuttle to and from Newark airport was helpful and smooth. The hotel is not the newest, but it is clean with the usual American breakfast. The hotel is suitable for those who travel without a car. There are grocery stores and McD nearby. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel close to Manhattan, but at a lower price than Manhattan.
