This accommodation is located in a quiet corner of Jeonju Hanok Village. It's in the perfect location, less than a five-minute walk from the bustling Hanok streets, with their sights, cafés, and stores. It's about a five-minute walk from Gyeonggijeon Shrine, and 10-15 minutes from the Jeonju shopping district, if you're looking for a more modern atmosphere, fast food, or a karaoke session. It's also easy to get there from the train station because there are several bus stops around the Hanok Village. The accommodation itself is lovely: a traditional Korean house with underfloor heating that you can adjust to your liking. The rooms are small, as expected, but offer enough space for two suitcases and a futon. The room has a TV, and the bathroom is equipped with everything you need, including shampoo, towels, and a hairdryer. In warm weather, you can relax on the veranda or in the garden on the provided chairs and benches. You can also have breakfast there, which is provided daily in the kitchen (toast, jam, muesli, milk, juice, tea, coffee, and rice crackers for those who prefer something crunchy). The owner is also so nice! We messaged her about our arrival time, which was a while before check-in time. She quickly replied that it wasn't a problem, which put our minds at ease. We were also able to leave our luggage there after checking out until it was time to leave. All in all, we had a really good time and benefited greatly from the location, which made using the bus almost unnecessary. We can definitely recommend Pungnam House to anyone who is okay with sleeping on the floor.

The location is convenient as you are in the Hanok village. There is a small but convenient kitchen for self service breakfast. Price is quite competitive in this very touristy place. It was really clean and the person showing us our room was nice and responsive.
