They are eco friendly which is good and the breakfast was very generous. Staff in restaurant was also very good and there’s a lovely hammock where you can watch the ocean and relax.

A must stay in Zanzibar , friendly staff and excellent service , good food , the pool room is exceptional. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is dreamy , amazing view of the ocean from the restaurant and pool areas. I also enjoyed the complimentary floating breakfast that is offered , I did not try out the Spa but it looked like a 5 star retreat area. I will definitely be coming back .

Our stay at Bamboo Zanzibar was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an incredibly attentive and warm staff who went above and beyond to make us feel special throughout our entire stay. The level of service was exceptional, and it truly made us feel like valued guests. The hotel itself is a stunning blend of luxury and charm, with gorgeous aesthetics that create a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail, from the beautifully designed rooms to the lush surroundings, was meticulously curated, and it really enhanced the overall experience. One of the highlights was the variety of excursions offered. We had the chance to explore the island in so many exciting ways, we visited: Stone Town, Prison Island, Jozani Forest, the rock restaurant, Salaam cave and Paje Beach. There was always something fun and interesting to do, and the hotel team made sure we were well taken care of during each adventure. As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. Every meal was a culinary delight, with a wide range of options that catered to all tastes. Fresh local ingredients and creative dishes made each dining experience memorable. On our last night we had the BBQ experience which was one of our favourite moments of the trip- really recommend! I spent my birthday at bamboo and it couldn’t have been a more memorable experience. The staff kindly decorated our room and even gave us a room upgrade for a day. I’ve never felt so special! Overall, Bamboo Zanzibar exceeded our expectations in every way. The exceptional service, beautiful setting, and amazing food made it a perfect choice for a getaway. We can't wait to return!
