my partner and I were very happy with our stay. The hostel was very clean and tidy. There was a dedicated person who kept everything tidy throughout a day. It was not crowded, every one had enough space in fridges and shelves, also enough place to sit down in the lounge. The money we pay were very modest, so the room and shower very pretty small, but again, it was clean and in a good condition for money. The only problem was the Internet - although there was a very strong signal from routers, the internet was very slow and often disappearing. This must be fixed. Again, thank you very much to the hosts - we felt so welcomed and supported throughout our stay so we didn't want to leave!

This is a cheap way to stay in the vibrant Taksim area with your own bathroom, keep this in mind!! The staff at the hostel were very friendly, making a point to greet me by name, and checking in to make sure everything was OK. At the end of my trip I was told not only that I could leave my luggage, but wait in the lounge or use the facilities. The team at Taxim hostel were so welcoming and kind. The hostel is a few minutes walk to Taksim Square which is a metro but also airport drop off point on Havabus (also recommend!). There are a number of restaurants including great vegan options also only a few minutes walk away. The room had the essentials, basic bedding, a desk, flyscreen and soap. The WiFi was average strength, you could watch a short video, but there were occasional drop offs. Things were generally clean aside from a small bit of mould in the bathroom.

The stuff was Amazing and the kitchen was reliable. They provided plenty of travel information as well as extra services. They were always there and very helpful.

The owner (who was in reception) was very kind and we checked in around 10PM. He was kind enough to explain everything and guided us to our rooms. There is a kitchen where we can cook if we want. Free tea and coffee available 24x7 We can purchase water which is cheaper than the nearby shops. Clean bathroom.
