Central location right by the Spice Bazaar and Yeni Cami Mosque. Only 15 - 20 minutes walk to Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Basillica Cistern. The staff were attentive and helped with what we asked but never really needed much. The rooms were clean, and great sound proofing which you need at 4am call to prayer.

I stayed at the Mest Hotel with my family. The location is central, close to the main points of interest in the city, not to mention the view on the New Mosque: breathtaking! The area is very lively during the day but also very quiet at night. What made our stay memorable was the staff. A special thanks to all the guys at the reception, whose names I unfortunately cannot remember. Thanks to Başar for his kindness and constant attention. We asked for a surprise birthday cake for our mom and they organized everything in detail, making the day even more special. I highly recommend staying here, I will definitely do it again when I return to Istanbul and I will suggest this place to anyone who wants to visit the city.

The breakfast was excellent, a huge and delicious variety- much more than we expected! The location was perfect for visiting the old town of Istanbul, in the centre of the old city. Very central and despite being in a busy shopping street, the hotel was incredibly quiet. We had a lovely view of the Golden horn and New Mosque. The building is beautiful inside. The staff were extremely professional and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. We would stay again!
