The location is excellent — close to everything yet quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. We didn’t get to try the breakfast since we had to leave early, but everything else met our expectations.

We liked the location of the hotel – just 3 minutes from Istiklal Street and 10 minutes from Galata Tower and the Bosphorus Bridge, right in the heart of the nightlife and terrace scene. We also appreciated that our rooms were separated from the main hallway by a private corridor shared between two rooms, each with its own bathroom. One advantage is that the windows are well soundproofed, so you don’t hear much of the constant noise from the streets. Moreover, although the décor is old-style and somewhat worn by time in places, the cleanliness, towels, and bed linen were impeccable. The breakfast was simple and honest, a traditional Turkish style, but nothing fancy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful – truly deserving of a bonus!
